Increased connection to self
Individual Therapy
You’re tired of not feeling like yourself
You crave peace connection and groundedness
Life can be challenging. Current world events may be adding to your daily life stresses and bring up feelings of hopelessness, fear, anger, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, feeling overwhelmed and/or stuck. Additionally, we may carry the weight of unprocessed trauma that can affect our daily ability to function as well as how we interact in our relationships. Some common symptoms of unprocessed trauma include emotional dysregulation, low self worth, lack of insight, and people pleasing tendencies. We may find it difficult to connect with others, want to isolate, or be disappointed in our ability to show up how we want to.

Trauma can be defined as experiencing an overwhelming event. Developmental trauma occurs at a young age with various causes including emotional neglect. Developmental trauma affects how we relate to others as we develop a style of relating for protection rather than connection.
People pleasing also known as fawning is a nervous system response to growing up in an environment that often felt chaotic and unsafe. As a self identified people pleaser, we learn to mask, suppress our needs, walk on egg shells in a hypervigilant state and not be connected to our true selves.
Highly sensitive persons are considered in the neurodivergent realm. Becoming overwhelmed much more than others by outside surroundings with loud noises, smells, and temperatures. Some avoid stimulation and other are sensory seeking. Often empaths who feel deeply.
Neurodivergent is a brain that works differently. These differences often include communicating and or perceiving the environment differently, experiencing learning difficulties, feeling over or under stimulated. Some examples include ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Autism, High Sensitive Persons.
